The “Road 2 MercedesCup” offers amateur players the chance to fulfill their dream of finally getting to play on a grass court – in front of a big audience.
The MercedesCup (€701,975 total financial commitment) at Stuttgart’s TC Weissenhof has a very special highlight for amateur players in store: the “Road 2 MercedesCup” will kick off in July. Dozens of amateur tournaments throughout Germany will participate and amateur players can collect points at those tournaments. The 80 best players in various age categories will compete at next year’s MercedesCup on the grass courts of TC Weissenhof for prizes of 100,000 Euro.
The final matches will be staged as best-of-3 tie-breaks.
