The action really starts today

On Whitsun Monday the MercedesCup kicks into full gear and sees no less than three Germans in action.

To get things going, Mischa Zverev will face French veteran Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at 11 am on the Centre Court, directly followed by Philipp Kohlschreiber against Miomir Kecmanovic (SRB). Not before 3 pm, Jan-Lennard Struff will take on Canada’s Next Gen star Denis Shapovalov.

To round the day off, Hungarian Marton Fucsovics and Spaniard Jaume Munar will fight for a spot in the second round.

On the MercedesCourt the day kicks off with the continuation of the final qualification match between Alexander Bublik (KAZ) and Feliciano Lopez (ESP). The Spaniard takes a 7-5 lead into the continuation. After that there are two more doubles matches with one featuring Australian Nick Kyrgios who pairs up with fellow countryman Matt Reid against the at no. 2 seeded Croatians Nikola Mektic/Franko Skugor.
